**** October 23, 2009 - Our Annual General Meeting was held this past Wednesday and we had a few changes to the executive. We would like to welcome our new vice-president, Brett Smyl, to the fold. He brings several years of racing experience and a very eager attitude. We also have some new directors; Willie Martens, Terry Smyl, JR Davis & Paul Jobe. There are several projects in the works for this fall and over the winter, starting with some fencing around the parking lot. We plan on starting this Sunday at 10 AM so anyone willing to help is asked to attend.****

**** August 31, 2009 - The track got a rather substantial face lift over the weekend. In addition to several new jumps we added Nascar style banking to turn one and a 70' table top at the finish line. New pictures will be added soon. We need to send out a big thank you to the people who helped out; L. Nason Construction for the use of their gravel truck, Krahn Logging for their dozer which Aron Krahn himself came and operated for us on Sunday, Parma Ventures for the loader, Brian Gramson, Bob Grocholski, Charles Herrington, Brett Smyl and Chris MacLeod. There is a steady requirement for work so we need more guys to help out. ****
**** August 27, 2009 - The track will be closed this weekend for some additional construction. Anyone willing to help out is welcome to show up on Saturday or Sunday, we can use all the help we can get. ****

Also bring your bike and we will have a group ride after the meeting.****
**** June 15, 2009 - The track has been getting used on a regular basis by current track pass holders. We still have a lot of work to do but the current conditions are a great start. Keep an eye on the website for updates of when we will be building more jumps and installing some more fencing. We will need all the help we can get.****
**** May 19, 2009 - We will be having a meeting on Wednesday May 20, 2009. 7 PM at the Parma shop. There is still much to do and we need more help. Everyone interested is urged to attend.****
**** Feb 2, 2009 - As of January 26 our rec lease is official and the parcel of land is now ours. This means that we need to get our insurance coverage in place ASAP. I ask that everyone fill out the membership & track pass applications and get them in. Without the proceeds from the track passes we cannot get our insurance.****
**** Oct 17, 2008 - Although we have not yet officially opened the track it is good to see that people have been using it. It would be even better to see people showing up to help out. We hope to install the gate on the road next week so that means the track will be locked up. From then on if you want access you will have to help out. Please contact us via email and we will make arrangements when we are going to get the remainder of the work done. The more we get done this year will mean the faster we are on it in the spring.****
**** Sept 22, 2008 - We have completed the rough in of both tracks. Please check out the pictures. All we have left is the fine tuning and cleanup so if you are interested in helping let us know. ****
**** Sept 15, 2008 - On the weekend we finally had some equipment, and help. Needless to say we got a ton of work done. The track looks great and should be completed in the next couple weeks if we can keep the equipment around. Thank you to the three people who showed up to help. We plan on being there every night this week and we need more people so please show up and we will get it done faster.****
**** Sept 11, 2008 - We will be working out at the track on Saturday and Sunday of this week. The Cat Rental Store has given us the use of an excavator and we will also have some loaders to move dirt. The mulcher from Buller Contracting will be there Saturday as well so we need more people to help with picking roots and doing some saw work. Please give me a call if you can come help (780-926-6096). ****
**** Sept 9, 2008 - We have booked a booth at the 2008 High Level Trade Fair which is taking place on Sept 19 & 20. We ask all members to sign up for a shift in the booth. Please confirm via email if you can help out.****
****Sept 8, 2008 - I was out at the track on the weekend filling some low spots with sand and pulling the disker around the areas that I had previously stripped with the cat. Buller Contracting of LaCrete is sending out one of their mulchers later this week to chew up the remaining roots and trees. Once this is complete we will need people to help with clean up of any remaining sticks or roots. Anyone who has access to a skidsteer, quad or any other form of equipment please contact me and we can get a plan together to get some work done. I still hope to get on the track before the snow flies but this will only happen if some people show up to give me a hand.****
**** Sept 5, 2008 - Once again we lost our dozer on Aug 15 and I have been gone for the last few weeks so not much has been done at the track. Prior to loosing our dozer I managed to get most of the trees knocked down and it is mainly cleanup that remains. Equipment should be starting to come free now that the construction season is coming to an end. Let's hope we can find some more iron and get this thing done so we can get a bit of riding in before the snow flies. Please note that this months meeting has been moved to Monday Sept 8 @ 7:00 PM. I ask everyone to attend, we need more help. ****
